Jesters are a three-piece acoustic band from Oxford, mixing their own contemporary songs with rabble-rousing traditional fiddle and guitar tunes. Originally based in Charlbury, now in Oxford, they also specialise in sung poetry and remakes of classic ballads such as Matty Groves and Tam Lin. Formed in 2008, they've played at three Cornbury Music Festivals, as well as dozens of pub and club venues in the Oxfordshire area, and have also starred further afield at music festivals in Filey, Fishguard, Glastonbury, Paignton, Poole, Weymouth and elsewhere.

The Jesters are:
Jonathan Luxmoore - vocals, guitar, percussion
Christine Ellis - fiddle
Jonathan Brooks - double bass
